It all started in 1620 when the British came to American to start a settlement. When they arrived, they started building houses and farms to make a town. The name of their settlement was called Plymouth. Sadly, they arrived at the wrong time of the year , winter came and made it difficult for them to survive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So, this English-speaking Indian named Squanto helped them and they made friends with the Indians. They had a great feast called Thanksgiving that we still celebrate today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(<strong>Mateo<\/strong>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thanksgiving is a holiday in America. It\u2019s when we are with our family and friends. We eat turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy. We meet up with friends and family to celebrate this important holiday. We eat turkey, gravy, pie and mashed potatoes. We watch football.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was originally when the Pilgrims arrived in America, the Native Americans helped them. In return, the Pilgrims had a celebration with the Native Americans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(<strong>Oren<\/strong>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thanksgiving means \u00ab&nbsp;give thanks&nbsp;\u00bb. It is celebrated the 4th Thursday on November.
